Ideas for GCHC Events, Meetings, etc.
We plan to hold some events in the Houston, TX area others in the Baton Rouge, LA area and several events in the Lake Charles, LA / Beaumont, TX area since that is in the center of our geographic territory. By doing this, we hope to encourage lots of face to face interaction and fun activities with our club members! If you are interested in joining us or just want to learn more about the Havanese breed, please contact us regarding Havanese Fun Days that we have planned in both the Houston and Baton Rouge areas.

Everyone is invited to join GCHC July 18th to 20th for a weekend of non-stop Havanese fun in Houston, TX!
Here's the scoop . . .
Friday, July 18th
- Reliant Center World Series of Dog Shows opens
Part of the televised Eukanuba circuit of shows, Animal Planet will be on hand to broadcast the events and will also have their trademark booth open with lots of giveaways. If you can't find it at the Houston shows, they probably don't make it...yet! As far as dog events, we have it ALL...agility, obedience, conformation, flyball....lots of doggie fun! Meet at 7 pm in the bar at the Cafe Red Onion located at Kirby@ Norfolk for an informal evening of fun, Cuban food and the occasional margarita and mojito with GCHC members and friends! Everyone is welcome. Menu online here... as they say "Lo mejor!"

Bring your neutered and spayed Havanese, bring your show hopefuls and let them have fun in the ring with us! $10 entry fee includes dinner and drinks. Everyone will win an award and we promise to have lots of fun doing it too! Many thanks to Adam King for agreeing to judge for us. Also, we will offer a parade of champions for finished Havanese who cannot participate in the match itself. So, show off your champion Havanese with us!
Bring your own chair and grooming table along with a crate or expen for your Havanese if needed. If you can't find Dina's RV, look for the RV with the Performance Havanese signs on it!
